Methylation plotter

A dynamic Web tool for easy methylation data visualization

About

R has emerged as the facto standard for statistical computing and graphics generation. Its advantages are numerous: it is free software and has an open-source license, is potent and versatile, offers cutting-edge functionality, is easily portable and moderately fast. However, R is command-driven and requires some basic knowledge on programming. Therefore, the development of extra software tiers that offer a graphical user interface beside the power of R is highly desirable.

For this reason, Methylation plotter offers the extra tier needed to ease methylation data visualization running an R core within a user-friendly frontend.

Methylation plotter was developed by Anna Díez-Villanueva and Izaskun Mallona using R/shiny. Please feel free to contact us at adiez@imppc.org or imallona@imppc.org. If you are looking for support, a ticket tracker is available at the tool's SourceForge repository.
